| I went to Clark's Corvairs one Friday to drop off my cores and pick up all the parts I needed for this 2700cc conversion. Isn't it nice to live so close! While I was there I had them press the new pistons on to the best set of rods I had from the four engine cores. The bearings in this engine were so good they could have been put right back in. But I don't build engines with used bearings. New ones go in every time. The rings will be placed on each piston, the assembly oiled and bagged until assembly. | | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
